Directions to BDTI

By BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit)

• From the south, take a Richmond-bound train to the 19th Street/Oakland station
• From San Francisco, take a Richmond-bound or Pittsburg/Bay Point-bound train to the 19th Street/Oakland station.
• From the northern or eastern parts of the East Bay (Berkeley or Richmond, or stations along the Pittsburg/Bay Point line), take a San Francisco-bound train to the 19th Street/Oakland station.
• From the southern East Bay (stations along the Dublin/Pleasanton line), take a San Francisco-bound train and change to a Richmond-bound train at Lake Merritt station. Get off the train at the 19th Street/Oakland station.

On arriving at 19th Street/Oakland, exit the station via the stairs or escalator toward 20th Street. On exiting the station you will be on 20th Street, between Franklin and Broadway. Proceed east on 20th to Franklin Street. Turn left on Franklin Street and walk one block to 21st Street.

BDTI is located in the Webster Tower of the Center Twenty-One Building. Entrances are located on 21st Street, near the corner of 21st and Franklin, and at 2101 Webster Street.

By car

• From South Bay (e.g., San Jose), take Interstate 880 North. Exit at Broadway/Downtown. Follow Broadway for approximately 1.5 miles, then turn right on Grand Avenue. Turn right on Webster (Webster is a one-way street). Go two blocks to the corner of 21st Street and Webster.
• Alternate Route from South Bay.  I-880 North between Castro Valley & Oakland has frequent traffic jams.  The alternative is to take 580.  From 880 North Take exit 31A to merge onto I-238 South towards Castro Valley/Stockton/I-580. Take exit 14 to mergo onto I-580 West toward Oakland. Take Exit 21B for Grand Ave. Turn right onto Grand Ave. Turn left on Webster (Webster is a one-way street). Go two blocks to the corner of 21st Street and Webster.
• From San Francisco, take Highway 80 East, across the Bay Bridge. Once off the bridge, stay to the right to take Interstate 580 toward Downtown Oakland/Hayward-Stockton. Take the Interstate 980 exit toward Downtown Oakland. Bear right, following signs for W Grand Ave/27th St. Bear left at Northgate Ave, then turn left on W Grand Ave. Turn right at Webster St. (Webster is a one-way street.) Go two blocks to the corner of 21st Street and Webster.
• From the East (Walnut Creek), take California Route 24 East. Bear right on to Interstate 980 West, then exit at 27th Street. Bear left at Northgate Ave, then turn left on W Grand Ave. Turn right at Webster St. (Webster is a one-way street.) Go two blocks to the corner of 21st Street and Webster.

Parking in the vicinity is as follows:

• Valet parking at 2101 Webster. Pull up to the white marked zone and checkin with Valet Service.
• Parking garage in Kaiser Plaza Building. Enter from 20th Street.
• Self-park lot on Franklin St. between 20th and 21st Streets.
• Metered street parking, limited to 2 hours.
