BDTI Spurs Acceptance of New Products
In 2007, BDTI performed an analysis of a new tool suite for a top-10 chip company. The company needed an independent validation of its new approach to programming. BDTI evaluated the ease-of-use of the tool suite and created a white paper for distribution to the marketplace. BDTI Opens New Markets
For a developer of licensable microcontroller cores, BDTI evaluated a proposed set of DSP instruction set extensions, performing a detailed design review and making recommendations for architecture changes. The instruction set extensions were incorporated into a new member of an established microcontroller core family. Expansion of its product line enabled the core vendor to upsell its existing customer base, capture a sizeable number of new designs, and strengthen its market position.
