BDTI Benchmark Suites
BDTI benchmark suites are recognized world-wide by processor vendors and systems developers alike as the only vendor-independent means to understand the relative capabilities of processing devices. BDTI has over a decade of experience in developing and implementing signal processing benchmarks for chips, systems, and tools.
BDTI DSP Kernel Benchmarks™
This suite includes 12 key digital signal processing algorithm kernel benchmarks, such as FIR filters, a Viterbi decoder, and an FFT. Used to generate the BDTImark2000™, a composite DSP speed metric.

BDTI Communications Benchmark (OFDM)™
Based on an OFDM receiver, this benchmark models the workloads of broadband communications applications. Useful in comparing diverse devices, including multicore and single-core processors, and FPGAs.

BDTI Video Kernel Benchmarks™
This suite includes 6 building-block functions, such as motion compensation and image resizing, that are critical to many video applications.

BDTI Video Encoder and Decoder Benchmarks™
These benchmarks are representative of the video encoding and decoding workloads found in a variety of video-oriented applications. Provides 70-90% of the processing load of typical video codecs, without the complexity of implementation.

BDTI Solution Benchmarks™
BDTI's Solution Benchmarks provide standard test streams, metrics, and operating points for apples-to-apples comparison of hardware-software multimedia solutions, such as H.264.
